<p>It had been quite some long time since I last flew <strong>Air France</strong> and I must say that &#8211; except for a scare at landing &#8211; the experience was really great. Checking in in Brussels was a breeze &#8211; as you travel in Business Class, you can wait in the Thalys lounge.</p>

<p>The flight was long (detour around Russia…) but comfortable, the crew was present but not imposing… The space for your feet was commendable &#8211; as this is not always the case in BC. </p>

<p>Trust the french to have great food on board. Both flights, food was superb</p>

<p>In Tokyo, I stayed at the <strong><a href="https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/tyohitw-hilton-tokyo/">Hilton Tokyo</a></strong>. The hotel is a great choice if you need to be in Shinjuku or if you are OK to take the subway. It is directly connected to the subway. </p>



<p>The service is impeccable, the rooms well equipped, and &#8211; if you have access &#8211; the Executive Lounge is a great addition to the different food outlets as is also great roomservice. </p>



<p>Returning from Haneda airport, you need to know that check-in only opens 3 hours before departure. If you don’t know what to do, you can have some excellent sushi on the first floor. </p>
